upgrade forums to something more smartphone-friendly?

I've been on other websites and they really perform well on smartphones. This one is good but could be better. This forum is an example of something that works excellent with a smartphone.

What I really like about is the posts are formatted for a smartphone. On this forum, I have to resize the window to make a post fit the screen. The above forum sizes it automatically. Its very readable.

Which smartphone do you have Grummgug? I have a Note II and if I tap the screen twice it automatically resizes the content to become readable.

What he's asking for is a mobile-friendly layout though, not the ability to zoom in
