The news of the incoming Guesting feature and Paid server transfers has seen a number of guilds doing a last free hop to a home server. Some crazy battles are taking place and we are seeing some servers skipping entire tiers (both up and down!) for the next match.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next month ^.^

For Europe you can clearly see it's a best of four and nobody else really matters (VS>SFR>DESO>ER). The same thing happens over and over VS is t1 and the other three rotate T2. No matter what happens in a week or 2weeks time the 4th server will outrank the third server just due to how the rank is calculated which is BS.

Losing to the number 1 and number 2 shouldn't be worse than winning from number 5 and 6 (especially if number 3 has beaten number 4 regularly but 4just "farms" 5 and 6 to catch up in points).

I play on Aurora Glade and lots of new guilds have come in the last couple of days. I guess this can be good for the server and we may move some tiers. This morning I had a queue for Eternal Battlegrounds which has happened for the first time lol!

Coming from JQ myself I was rather pleased to see them bummed off, was rather annoying having an sos sbi zerg after us the entire time.

Yeah idk how SBI even stayed up here this long.... They were abysmal.... So many times me and 4 friends completely shut down a Zerg by lurin them into a kill zone (area with 3-4 arrow carts and a ballista) omg all the carnage.... Once they gave up fighting SoR just took over and upgraded to the point fighting back was awful....

I really haven't been keeping up with this and I feel like I may have screwed myself as a result. Can you guest and do WvW at all? I've heard some people say 100% map completion is impossible unless you server transfer, which I never have. I'm sitting at 94%, the last 6% is all PvP related. I also read that your starting area is dependent on your server's performance and that it doesn't automatically rotate. I know that every week when I zone in we're at the exact same area and looking at that chart we are doing really, really terribly right now. :P

People are stupid for saying you can't get world completion if you don't transfer... You just have to discover each keep/supply depot/tower/ each section of the tower, server transferring to a winning server may help, but it's hardly required...

As for the guesting, no you can not WvW with the server(s) you're guesting on. However you can always WvW with your -home- server.

Man, Tarnished Coast can not catch a break. And everyone on SoR can burn, jumping puzzles are not for PvP.

They are when it's in the WvW maps! Enemies get siege for completing them, i'm not gonna let that happen!! TC needs more commanders =(, i have yet to see one, kinda surprised we've managed to get this far without them...

Well, well, well. They are resetting the ratings and instituting a new matching system to move servers through the ranks faster.

Going to be more interesting than I thought.

I do not support their new rating idea...
Basically what will happen (for EU atleast) is this
next week VS vs SFR vs Deso as "tier 1"
two weeks from now deso somewhere in the middle (t5) and underworld (current t7) will be in t1 due to how big of a lead they'll have in comparison to vabbi and fow...
This doesn't come across as fair to me at all. It would also mean that inorder to "balance" everything we'll be atleast a month further...

Well this explains why Augury Rock jumped over Gandara while a few days back we had about 75% of the map. Now they do.

Wait, have you not seen Commander Commander Jadon and the rest of PINK? They were pretty much all the commanders we had.

nope, everytime i get on there are literally no commanders on the map lol, i know i'm going to be working towards getting a commander title myself though, probably gonna try to get it BEFORE i get my legendary.

That's funny seeing as how I use to be on SBI and whenever I actually did do WvW, we would annihilate everyone else. Guess you just happen to get a group of really inexperienced players to kill. And we usually kicked your ass because we were good? Hard to admit it I know, but come on :P. And the person from JQ, Dempsey....we saw JQ players using exploits SO DAMN MUCH it got pathetic. The fact that JQ exploited so much and yet still lost to us says volumes of that server. So....yeah.

True, but from what I've seen we haven't given up. We take back what we can and just keep up the fight!

I'm interested in finding out if the WvW population numbers are screwed. People are saying if you exit the game while in WvW your spot doesn't free up and are included in population numbers. That would really mess up the stats even more for this week. On TC we are asking people to transfer to LA or Heart of the Mists before logging out to see if it seems better. There's nothing worse than sitting in queue only to get in and seem to be outnumbered.

Oh I know SBI is crap now. I was talking about before the mass exodus of WvW guilds. And yeah....JQ was pathetic....they exploited so damn much. Im surprised their whole server didnt get banned. It was business as usual to join WvW against JQ and hear "theyre exploiting again"......go figure.

lol i'm surprised they have anyone left on their server to be honest, you'd think they've been banned by now, and it's a shame how SBI has fallen =(.
