Amber-Shaper Un'sok, how to 1-shot everuy week

Is my raid group the only one having weeks that unsok is down in 2 tries then next week it takes 16 tries. Completely frustrating farming boss.

And also, is there any stable strat to ensure almost a 1-shot. It looks like there is only 2 strat, the 3 tanks, stacking debuffs on unsuk the whole p2 or waiting like retards 5 min to stacks 50 debuffs on unsok, hero him and then have to not fail a single explosion after.

So, any strategies that eleminates more RNG of who is pick, if it a healer first or not in p3, etc.

Ensure your fellow raiders don't fail their own explosion. Anything else isn't important.
Pop a healing cooldown for the monstrosity-explosion and you should be fine.

We have similar difficulties, are working on Will of the Emp/Garalon HC, have killed Spirit Kings twice in 3 pulls on HC and wipe on Un'sok nhc. It's as usual with vehicle raids, you ALWAYS have 1-2 raiders that don't really get how to play them - except, ofc, you're raiding in a world 1st guild who just benches them.

honestly, this fight is the bane of our group. Some people are just very uncomfortable in the construct and it can make things rough. What our group(10man) does for normal is have 5 reshape life go out in the first phase so that we have a bunch of pools on the ground. Push the boss as soon as the 5th reshape goes out. Burst down the tank then move to the monstrosity. The first person then goes on the monstrosity and gets the first interrupt then stays on the boss for the rest of the fight, we do not break this person out. Every reshape after the first is responsible for interrupting the monstrosity/themselves and that is it. This strat works for us and lets us have like 25+ stacks on the boss going into p3.

I spend my days on twitch.tv watching hardcore raiders farm, dreaming of me being one of them one day *-*.... Un'sok is the only boss I see Apex/Envy/Method wiping on more than once every single week.

Exactly what we do, but last night the first reshape life went to one of our (2) healers or the only shaman in the raid 10 times straight... going through p2 and p3 without a healer or BL/hero is near to impossible for us, and ended up wiping or effing up the whole tact.

Yea if a healer gets it first it is still their job to interrupt to monstrosity and themselves. However what changes is that the dps switch to the healers contruct immediately to get him/her out. Only bad thing is fewer stacks on boss going into p3 but nothing crazy.

Heh... we 1-2shot H Sha for the past 3 weeks and we still spend over an hour on Ambershaper.

You can't interrupt while casting. If you're both casting at the same time you're fucked. You can interrupt yourself and blow raid cds for the big one, but that's all you can do

Given interrupting yourself only stuns you for 0.5 seconds and amber explosion is a 2 second cast, it's really doable to interrupt yourself and still interrupt the monstrosity after.

this actually works very well for us. we go with 4 reshapes = ~36 stacks and nuke the boss to 20-35%. we 1- or 2-shot it this way every week.
