Honestly a solid system, and almost verbatim what mine is, except I have the 660 instead of the 660ti. I even have the same monitor and case.

If it matters to you, you could probably shave off about $80 or so with a slightly cheaper board (I've really found no real reason yet why a $130 board is used when a $90 does the same job). You probably don't need 16gb ram. 8gb is more than enough for juuuust about anything. You can also get the Antec Neo ECO 620w PSU for about $40, which is also manufactured by Seasonic.

It should also be noted that the SSD I -believe- is just the bare drive. So you can either get the MZ-7TD250KW which comes with the desktop adapter kit (to make the drive fit in a 3.5" bay) or just get an adapter separately. I got mine separately, as the 'kit' is $22 more, and just the adapter was like $5.

I'll probably keep the board and RAM; just in case I decide to upgrade later. Really amazing reviews on that board especially.

I'll do look at those other suggestion though. Will get the SSD adapter. The lowest I could find on that Antec supply was $69.99 though.

My big concern is OCing the CPU. Can the current cooler handle a stable 4.2 or so OC (for everyday use of around 6 hours most days)?

My stock retail cooler did fine at 4.0ghz. It ran warmer than I like (75*) but certainly not hot, and certainly not problematic. A good cooler like that will definitely do the job.

Updated the build to reflect those changes. After thinking it over I think I would be alright with a cheaper mobo and just 8GBs of ram. Which would you suggest?

Both cases are $10 extra but worth it in my opinion and you get front USB 3.0. The CM is also $50 but you get the rebate.

The 2 towers you listed had many reviews of trouble fitting coolers. Think I will have to shop around a bit more for a case.

Check most helpful "review/post" CPU cutout is perfect, had no trouble installing a Hyper 212+ with the mobo already installed.
