    Random notes:

C'thun and Yogg can very likely return in some form. Know Your Lore over at WoW Insider uses the Y'shaarj story to mean that the Titans imprisoned the rest because they knew Old God death could cause even worse problems. It stands to follow then that we no more killed C'thun and Yogg'saron than we did Ragnaros in the Molten Core.

Here's what you're actually told by the Klaxxi:
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: When the usurpers came - the ones you call "Titans" - Y'shaarj was destroyed.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: His last terrible breath has haunted this land ever since, but the shadows he left behind are mere whispers of his former glory.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: I tell you now, because you have earned this warning.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Your gods are not your gods, outsider.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: If the Old Ones ever return, we mantid will once again stand by their side.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: The wisest among you will do the same.

What he's saying is that the Klaxxi are on the side of the Old Ones despite the death of Y'shaarj.

Regarding the eggs in the chamber, those are likely princesses.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.

They are not dead, they can be awakened once again (like what Cho'gal was trying to do until Medan and company destroyed Ahnquiraj temple on top of C'thun body), so we may see them again...

IIRC he just took the form of the "eye beast" we fought in AQ so I do actually reckon he is still around?

Now we're swatting dragon aspects like flies. Malygos didn't want mortals to have magic and so he was killed, next expansion we killed Deathwing too.

With the lore we have now I think C'thun is still alive, but that may never come into play or a lot of the old god lore may get retconned when it comes time to play with another one of them or the titans.
Not so sure the thing with the Aspects can really be counted as a retcon. It is possible for Lore characters to be wrong after all. Did anything actually change in the history of the lore here?

A retcon is changing factual events that have actually occured (and admitted by Blizzard, such as the Sargeras / Eredar thing). But changing what lore characters thought to be true is not changing the story. That's just a twist.

It's pretty common knowledge that the WoW Old Gods are based very heavily on the works of Lovecraft. From that starting point I think it's a safe assumption, in the absence of any contradictory WoW lore, that they share some of those traits. Foremost being a type of immortality by virtue of their alien-ness. "Even death may die", and so on.

We haven't seen the last of C'thun, N'zoth, or Yogg-saron. Hell, I'd be shocked if we didn't see Y'shaarj return at some point. I'd also wager that there are significantly more Old Gods we haven't discovered yet, once we leave Azeroth.

In the novel The Sundering, it is hinted that the Old Gods are more powerful than the Titans, including even Sargeras. It is said that they are extremely powerful and that the combined might of many Titans are required to subdue them. It is also stated that if they are freed, even Sargeras will plead for peace of death. This is further supported by their statement that little effort is needed to destroy Sargeras and turn his Burning Legion into their minions.
Old Gods thought they would be able to kill Sargeras. How many times we saw confident villian get crushed? Sargeras posses cosmic knowledge. He knows about the existence of Old god's kind because it was his job to fight all chaos in the great dark beyond in the first place. Old gods exist in other planets as well. Sargeras wouldn't enter Azeroth just to be killed. Krasus said that Sargeras would plead for peace of death but you know what Krasus also said in WotA that 5 aspects would be able to stand against an old god. This shows that Krasus didn't wtf he was talking about. He didn't know how powerful Sargeras was. Sargeras would crush 5 aspects like they are flies. Keep in mind that Old gods were owned by the titans WITHOUT their champion, Sargeras at that time.....

One of the defining traits of greater Lovecraftian horrors is that it's not possible for standard weapons (read: anything a mortal race could ever get its hands on) to kill them, because they were never alive in the conventional sense to begin with. They're made of something that isn't what we would consider to be matter. Things like "life" and "death" don't apply to them. Cthulhu himself, the namesake of C'thun, was "defeated" by being rammed at top speed by a ship. He exploded into a cloud of greasy, foul-smelling mist which almost immediately began to re-form into its original shape. The only thing that stopped him was being sunk back to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean by an earthquake.

Old Gods, by all lore indications, are not exceptions to this. C'thun's corpse was capable of telepathic communication well after the raiders left the building. The only true exception to the rule is Y'shaarj, who is definitively dead according to the horse's mouth, but even in his death throes he left behind animate forces that are nearly impossible to permanently put down.

With that in mind, what we do to these things when we march in and attack them is considerably more akin to banishment than death.

That's a different Old God, one not native to Azeroth.
