VotM is so much more about the personal stories and the political intrigue than it is about the combat, though... I'm not sure an MMO would be the appropriate game to convey VotM. An RPG where the story and your alliances, rather than the combat, is the main focus, perhaps.

    Never said that it was.

I said that it's as close as you're gonna get in the near future or even ever.

Quick search on Wikipedia gave these results: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun_Returns
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun_Online
Both scheduled to be released this year.

Never even heard of it. Now, a well implemented Mass Effect mmo, on the other hand...

While the xbox game was a complete embarrassment to the story/lore etc of the games particular universe it was also the second best competitive fps to ever grace the xbox second only to the first Halo which was/is basically jesus as far as competitive fps on console goes. It had a ton of depth and a huge learning curve and was definitely more of a PC game at heart than console kinda wish a second FPS was made for the series. Sadly competitive does not sell at all these days it seems like. It's pretty ridiculous just how good the game actually was and it went absolutely nowhere without marketing/strong single player it absolutely destroys every fps released on the 360 since it was created lol it's kinda scary.

Yea I know, but I never played a Shaman in SR. I just never found that side of the game to be very interesting. Sure it adds a cool other layer and the game wouldn't be the game without it, but I've personally just never gotten into it like that.
