VMWare 9 issue

Been a long time reader on mmo-champ, but first time I've ever posted.

I am having an issue with running a vdmk machine on a friends computer (works perfectly fine on my own home machine/laptops.) Everytime I install and run a machine, it gives me an error saying that the OS is not found. Anyone got any idea what the hell is going on? Appreciate any help.

Got it to work after I converted the preinstalled vdmk machines to vmx, so disregard this.

Still a little bugged as to why the vdmk machines work on my own home machines, yet won't work on his computer. Pretty much fucking retarded if you ask me.
