    XMP broke my PC?

So I was trying to get my Corsair Vengeance to run at its normal speed of 1866mhz instead of 1333mhz and I was told to do so you had to enable the XMP profile in your BIOS. I'm using an ASUS Sabertooth z77 by the way. So I found the XMP setting in the "advanced" section, enabled it, and now my PC won't post. The fans come on, it tries to start up, then just turns itself off after about 10 seconds.

    Help please.

EDIT: FIXED, just reset CMOS with the the button on the I/O panel. Thanks for the help n0c

I seriously don't hope you put the speeds as 1866MHz in the BIOS.

Oops, for some reason it was showing two posts on this screen, anyway, no I didn't just change the RAM speed, I just enabled XMP and it did it automatically.

    @ n0c

Is that just the button on the back that says BIOS and has the swirly arrows? if so does the PC have to powered on the reset it or can I just press without it powered on.

    Thanks.

Yes, push the button when the computer is turned off and preferably the power cord unplugged.
