    Help my build and fix!

    INTEL CORE i5 3550 - 195
    GIGABYTE Z77M-D3H-MVP - 100
    amd radeon 7750 2GB - 94
    8GB KIT 1333 (4GB x 2) KINGSTON - 44
    SATA DVD SAMSUNG - 19
    ANTEC 100 - 61
    ANTEC TRUEPOWER 550W - 94
    1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA $73
    19" PHILIPS 196V3LSB - 89

    TOTAL WITH MONITER - $769
    TOTAL WITHOUT - $680

This is my current build that a friend had recommended, and I would appreciate any good changes. I would rather the price go down to $600 excluding monitor if possible, but close to $700 range is fine. I mainly play League of Legends and other low end games ( I think thats the right term) and would like to be able to play League of Legends at highest graphics with or without shadows on.

    Thanks in advance guys!

Drop the motherboard down to a H61 as that CPU is not a k series and upgrade the GPU to a GTX660/AMD7870.

Try something more like this, an i5 is pointless with such a low powered gpu and low res screen (1366x768), z77 is pointless without an unlocked cpu... I won't go any further. This is closer to the mark.

    A couple things!

    1) If you do plan on upgrading to an i5-3570K at some point later in time, then get the Z77 motherboard.

    if you don't...

    2) Get a B75 chipset board like this one. The H61 boards technically support Ivy Bridge, however require a BIOS update... which is sorta impossible to do if you only have one CPU, that being the one it doesn't support. If you can CONFIRM WITH THE SELLER that it is updated appropriately, go for it, but the B75 is a better chipset regardless, and nearly just as cheap.
