Mastery or Int at lvl 80?

My mage is left at lvl 80 for when I did Herald of the Titans last year, and I was just thinking now if mastery could possibly be even better than int at that level. Does anyone know?

Are you asking if a secondary stat which you won't be able to get any items for because you are doing wrath content is better than a primary stat

Because the answer is going to be both "no" and "hell no"

As far as I know you can't put mastery gems in level 80 gear anyway?

Other than that, I distinctly remember when the Cataclysm patch came out (before the expansion itself) which implemented Mastery and Reforging that I reforged all of my gear to Mastery and started doing some ridiculous damage as Arcane. I mean... on top of the usual ridiculous damage brought to you by full ICC 25 HC gear.

Int is better point for point but mastery will be better than other secondary stats in moderation.

Mastery > Int > SP > Haste > Crit at level 80 Arcane.

When we did herald everyone was fully reforged into mastery
