    [TV] Need some comedy in this dark time of the year.

    Some Comedy series I enjoyed are:

    * Two and a Half men
    * The big bang theory
    * IT Crowd
    * Friends
    * Fawlty towers
    * Keeping up appearances
    * Scrubs

    If you like many of the comedies in this list, you might have similar taste as I, so my question then are, do you have any more comedys to suggest?

    Here are a few I enjoy

    MST3K (I prefer the Mike years, Joel was too... dorky)
    Whose line is it anyway? (US or UK but I think the US series was more fun)
    Rifftrax (not technically TV, I highly recommend the recording of the live riffing of Birdemic)
    Good Eats (yes its a cooking show but still very funny)
    Sgt Frog (anime, the dub is ok, so is the sub. One of the few times id say watch the dub, the sub is full of pop culture jokes most people outside of japan wont get)
    Futurama (just skip the sad episodes like Jurassic bark)
    Freakazoid (wish it had more then 2 seasons)
    Look around you (a British mock educational science program)
    Darkwing Duck (yay kids shows adults can enjoy!)

    If I think of more ill post them.

    The first ~5 seasons of Red Dwarf. Went downhill after then.

    The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Don't be fooled by the network, it's funny as hell.
    9 out of 10 people agree that in a room full of 10 people one person will always disagree with the other 9.

    1. Red Dwarf - though i would avoid series 7 and 8
    2. Blackadder - Awesomely funny british series though i would suggest watching series 2 first to see if you like it and watch series 1 last
    3. The Young Ones - A dated but very anarchic british comedy
    4. Father Ted - A very funny irish comedy about priests

    How I met your mother is a great comedy series, I'll recommend that if you've not already seen it.

    I also second community and always sunny in Philadelphia.

    New Girl is quite good too.

    If OP finds 2 and a half men funny he's going to have his mind blown when he sees Sunny in Philly.
    Why am I back here, I don't even play these games anymore

    The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.
