    Headphones & Mic Recommendations?

So new PC parts are on their way; just looking for a solid headphone and table mic combo. I use Skype/Mumble a lot so needs to sound clear. Budget is about $80-100.

Looking at these right now but reviews are mixed:

    Appreciate any feedback thanks!

The Zalman Zm-Mic1 on the frequently bough together section is pretty good, I've had one for quite a while an it's pretty good. It clips on the headphone cord and the sound is quite clear.
My go to website for headphones is http://www.head-fi.org you should definitely check it
here's a user review of the headphone you're interested: http://www.head-fi.org/t/546544/sams...udget-champion

That mic is the one I use and love it, probably best mic I've owned so far and even owned the Zalman ZM-Mic1 which didn't last long at all for me.The USB Logitech though I use it every day for voip / online gaming, cable is pretty long and its crystal clear no background noise.

If you don't mind (or even if you like) heavy bass the Razer Electra (I know razer is some times talked down, I'm not a big razer fan myself) seems to be a decent pair for the $50 price. It's also a headset that comes with a retractable mic, so you could also look into that. Don't expect audiophile quality, but for gaming it's seems to be good, according to reviews

Personally I use RAZER CARCHARIAS. $60 at best buy. I've had them for 2 years. They are very high quality and the mike is a step above. I love them.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

Ordered the Logitech mic but not a Razer fan.

Any other suggestions for a decent headphone set around $50-60?

These Takstar HI 2050 are $70 but they're really good headphones and compare to many higher budget ones so if you can squeeze out an extra $10 I would get those.
