If you're going to show off your char, at least make sure it's properly gemmed. And it being 5% above the hit cap is facepalm-worthy.

I did so many dailies at the start of MoP because I was planning ahead. My main hasn't done dailies since... October, and I still have around 600 lessers. I haven't used a coin on Sha since I didn't need the gear anymore, so this doesn't effect me as much as other people.

That being said.

This could be a PR nightmare for Blizzard. The game isn't all about gear, and some people just like collecting mounts. Even if there's an unrealistically low chance at the mount, the chance exists.

We're looking at thousands of character (maybe hundreds of thousands) who specifically grinded coins to use on Sha every week. The average player doesn't raid heroics, or even complete normal modes. So a good portion could view the Sha Mount as a good way to spend coins on.

Thousands or Hundreds of Thousands of characters, who potentially have wasted hundreds of hours each on dailies for a 0% chance at the mount.

If it was an issue and blizzard don't announce it it changes nothing. People will whine about the time spent getting these and seeing no drops etc. Rightly so if it was a bug and they didn't know. If it was just a case of the rarest luck in the universe then meh it doesnt change the fact you didn't win it.

Indeed, you could always learn any cloud serpent mount without the skill. Just not ride it. At this point it's useless, the people who believe that the mount already dropped before the restart won't believe anything unless Blizzard themselves come out and say it.

Just a big ol' coincidence that no one in the world knew anyone who had a mount, now suddenly they're appearing after a server restart. Coincidence! Tinfoil hat! We never landed on the moon! Elvis is still alive! Bin Laden is still alive!

Or we can rationally look at the fact that this is the third boss with a bugged loot table this patch. Previously I thought it was only 2 with Sha/Galleon and Feng, but I had forgotten about Shekzeer Heroic for a time.

Glad to see this issue is fixed, I really wish they would fucking speak up about it though instead of pretending it never happened.

Afterthought: Character named "Buu" in a guild called "Akatsuki". Made me lol.

Don't worry, I got my gloves for the 5th time today (on both the normal and the coin roll today) and no pants up to now.

While it couldn't have been the horn that only works in Valley of the Four Winds, you probably saw Venus reflected off some swamp gas and only thought you saw Galleon's mount in an LFR.

I suppose it's entirely possible that the mounts were bugged or something and that the forum threads about it finally caused them to have a look at it. It's equally possible that the drop rate was set too low by a couple of decimal points and they adjusted that. Or the whole thing could just have been a mirage.

So perhaps forums did what they were supposed to.

Anyone that demands compensation now is free to do so but will probably look ridiculous to a great many others.
