    Windows Permissions issue?

I fix minecraft maps, and in the process often provide basic tech support via email for odd problems. I recently got a situation where a player cannot cut/copy/move a folder. Nor can he zip the folder. Windows 7 states 'cannot read file'

The odd part is, he can rename the file without issue.

I'm thinking it's some sort of permissions issue, and we've already verified it isn't in read-only mode. Any suggestions? I figured asking here was easier than bouncing back and forth 15 emails with this guy who may not be an expert with windows.

Try using CMD in Administrator mode?

    XCOPY [source] [destination] /I /F /R
