aside from Titan, Nvidia is doing the same thing
this may come back to bite both of them, if everyone blows their money on a huge upgrade like Titan, nobody will have money or the need for a 700 or 8000 series card at the end of the year

If it ain't broken, don't replace it. Games hardly push my 7850's in Crossfire, so I am not too worried about not having new cards available until late this year.
