For the next 2 weeks in preparation for Throne of Thunder, we are accepting all DPS classes to see what it takes to be a part our ranks.

This group consists of Top USA/World players from previous guilds in the past that came together to just have a fun (but serious) raiding environment for MoP. The core of the group has only been together for little over a month and we have managed to down 10/16h.

<Winterborne> of Greymane (Alliance) is a recently reformed guild. Less than 8 months ago, we decided to raid 25 man content. We are currently 16/16 Normal, 11/16 Hard Mode (6/6 MSV, 3/6 HoF, 2/4 ToES). Though we may not be as established as most of the other raiding guilds on Greymane which have been around since BC or even vanilla, we have a very strong officer core that was able to pull together a pretty good 25 man raid roster in such a short amount of time.

Now we're recruiting to improve our Roster, replace weak links and strengthen our core for MoP content. Currently we're focusing on the recruitment of a skilled and dedicated SPriest, but we're more than interested in anyone who can best what we already have.

We do NOT recruit for waitlist, or more than what we genuinely need. We find that recruiting for waitlist is simply insulting to our raiders, and we are very much against it. We ONLY recruit for CORE raid positions.

<Winterborne> is a progression oriented guild. Killing bosses when we kill them isn't enough. We like to compete for our kills. We're going to be pushing for server first kills, and we won't stop pushing there. On progression, we raid from Monday through Thursday, 9:30 - 12:30 EST.

Brief Guild History: <Uprising> of Aerie Peak was formed as a raiding guild in the middle of The Burning Crusade. Like plenty of guilds, <Uprising> fought its way up from nothing and went through multiple leadership changes, improving dramatically along the way. It wasn't until Ulduar that <Uprising> broke into the Top 100 US raiding scene, thanks to the tireless efforts of new leadership. In Tier 11, <Uprising> pushed into the Top 10 US bracket for the first time. Unfortunately after that, Romoreas--the guild manager, raid leader, recruitment officer, and one of the main tanks--had to take an extended break from WoW. Instead of spiraling into oblivion, <Uprising> decided to call it quits while still at its highest rank. Several of <Uprising>'s members from this era still reside in Top 5 US guilds to this day. Romoreas decided to return for Mists of Pandaria and subsequently "remake" <Uprising>. Recruiting didn't start until three weeks before Mists of Pandaria's release date--and only six veteran members returned.

TO SUMMARIZE: OUR GUILD WAS FORMED THREE WEEKS BEFORE MoP'S RELEASE WITH ONLY A FEW VETERAN MEMBERS. WE WERE STILL ABLE TO CLEAR CONTENT AND BE COMPETITIVE WITH GUILDS THAT HAD STABLE ROSTERS FOR MANY YEARS.

The same leadership is in place that took <Uprising> from a US 70th guild in Ulduar to consistent US ~10 kills in Tier 11.

Now that the current tier's progression is complete, we are interested in strengthening our roster and further improving our performance in the next tier.

About us:::

We are a new 10 man guild on the Kul Tiras server, as horde. We are casual-core environment which means we plan on completing the current tier efficiently in a timely manner but on a much less rigorous schedule than most progression environments. Most of us currently have other responsibilities in our lives besides gaming so we can't commit that 24/7 lifestyle to gaming and want to be able to raid while also having social schedules. We picked a quiet server to reside on to have a more intimate feel with our community and enjoy that server competitiveness. Most of our core members have been playing wow for over 6 years and have been on the cutting edge of progression in multiple tiers and finishing in the top 10 us and world in 10 and 25 man modes. We are very interested in achieving a regularly competitive pvp atmosphere with 3's-5's and rbg teams.

We are very interested in challenge modes and want to obtain our server first for the gold mode here since we just got here and saw that this was available.

Leadership/Raid Experience: We have remained friends over the course of our whole wow careers but each have a unique facet of experiences and skills. Myself, I raided in mid 200-300 range of wow for 4 years, then I joined Premonition on Senjin the US 2nd guild, and when they made the decision to conclude raiding. Fidd was with me in Change Machine on Vashj, then went to Swims in Lava one of the top US 10 mans. Azmo has been in multiple US 100-150 guilds in his career and mainly pvps on Tich with <Hey Im MVP> and already has multiple server first gold modes on different classes. Putrifid/Ledonn was in multiple US 100-150 guilds. These are just some of our core members.

Progression:: Our current core members range from 11/16hm, 2/16hm, normal clears, to fresh players that just got back into wow since FL. Looking to be top on server for end of this tier into the new tier. Just got everyone on the same page and caught up ready to go for 5.2.

The guild's focus is 25-man endgame content. We do not care about 10-man content when a 25-man version exists.
