Umm your going to give somebody youve been dating for a month a heart necklace? yeah dude thats overdoing it. I can already tell your going to be a clinger when she dumps you.

Best not do anything for valentines day if youve only been dating a few days, juts go to dinner or something. Dont tell her you love her, cause you dont.

It's a cute necklace, Romire, but a tad excessive. I think it's ok to give it to her but I wouldn't tell her how much it cost you. It could be something she really loves but the price tag may feel like added pressure. I don't think gift giving will make or break your relationship, but it's better to not to go too fast, unless of course that's the nature of your relationship.

I bet she'd like it, but for future reference, a month of dating is probably best to be spent over dinner or something, nothing too big or expensive.

That's just what I think from my experience though, it really depends on what your girlfriend is like and what she likes.
Man, I've got bags under my eyes... BAGS OF MONEY!
    See ya later, peasants.

Wow. I feel terrible, terrible for saying this.

You obviously know her much more then we all do combined. How often do you two see each other? Is it constant texting/talking?
May I ask what is your age bracket?

Personal- i dated a man for 5 weeks, he started hinting about dropping the L-word, it was too much too fast. I just wasnt that into him. It was not a good 'breakup' if you can even call it that. I am in my mid 20s he was 7 years older

I have a feeling this might be too much too fast. But its your choice.

A bit too much for someone you've only been with for a month. It doesn't look bad but it's way too early for something like this.

Im 27, shes 26, We text heaps and we see each other a few days a week, i cook dinner for her, she cooks for me when i see her, and i even stay the night sometimes.

no sex is involved as well, we just sleep in the same bed, talk and cuddle and kiss really, nothing major.

If you haven't been together long then I think jewelry is a bad idea.

I think you'd get better brownie points if you prepared a meal for her yourself.

She opens that, she's gonna think you want sex, and that could end badly.

Lose the earrings, for sure. Necklace is a maybe, but not something I'd pick out for a one month thing.

They probably will. Too bad it's a huge price to pay for the official human emotion blackmailing day.

I have to admit I'd be a little creeped out if someone bought me that expensive gifts after just one month. It seems more like an anniversary thing.

But hey, that's just me. Maybe your situation is different. Cultural differences n' all. Best of luck anyways.

My boyfriend gave me a ring after dating two or three months. It's technically an engagement ring, but he just wanted to get me something pretty... I guess it's more of a "promise ring" although we never have called it that. I think the necklace is nice, and she shouldn't feel weird about it.

    Roses are red,
    Violets are blue,
    Vodka costs less,
    Than dinner for two.
