even if that happened not many would follow him anyway ... so I doubt he'll still be warchief... especially since he's been a bit cuckoo way before the sha infestation(you know blowing up theramore and shit).

So what does that matter? The guy became Warchief and he couldn't handle the power.
When Garrosh became Warchief, he was quite popular I remember; people change.
Thrall is making some decisions now, as he said after he freed the Trolls. After that he will return.
I don't see any issues with the fact that he put on the throne; he is Thrall and not some prophet who can foresee the future.

He is respected by horde and alliance; he is the best choice.

You don't have to worry about him being a tyrant, because he won't be the new warchief. There are two options. Thrall or Vol'jin. I have a hunch it will be Vol'jin. His speech to Garrosh in Cata, the book, the scenario. I can already see it.

I Say a better option would be. Thrall have a son (In is visions he was blessed with a child) And the boy should be then mentored by Vol'jin. Both Factions then have up and coming young King/Warchief and the battle between the Horde and Alliance continues.
