    Looking to upgrade monitor

Hi there, I decided to finally upgrade my old non HD flat monitor and was looking for suggestions within 250-300 US dollars. Ive heard IPS monitors are the best for gaming so I am aiming for one of those.

    Thanks in advance.

This depends on what kind of games you play, but overall an IPS monitor will be better than most if not all TN monitors. There are also VA monitors that can be quite good(MVA,PVA) and Samsung own IPS version called PLS.

When it comes to IPS monitors you have ASUS PA, Dell Ultrasharp U, HP ZR and EIZO Foris as some of the series which are all very popular.

This is a great deal for a decent IPS panel. (~$30 off what you can normally get it for)

After reading some reviews it seems the Dell U2312HM 23.0" Monitor is the best option for gaming at this budget. Thanks for the input guys!
