Midnight Sunrise (US-Madoran [A]) is currently looking for a geared, experienced tank for patch 5.2 and beyond. Current progression is 3/12N. Raid times are 9:30-12:30 EST, Tues & Wed. We occasionally will run on Monday as well, but this night is optional. This full time position is available immediately. Paid realm and/or faction change is available for the right candidate.
Midnight Sunrise was formed during ICC and has remained strong ever since. This current raid team has been together since ICC, with most members having been on the team since the launch of Cata. We have a solid, friendly raid team who understands that progression raiding is just as much about enjoying yourself as it is about killing big internet pixel monsters. We started this tier with some roster issues and have only been able to get through 16/16N last tier, but plan on getting back to where we were last xpac , finishing 8/8H @ 20%.
What you can expect from us:
- Consistent progression through all content the game has to offer in a non-hostile, drama free atmosphere.
- Full consumables and enhancements for all full time raiders
- Fully stocked raid bank
- A mature, friendly, experienced officer core. We have been at this a long time. No amateurs here…
- An active website community, complete with WoL links, first kill pics and video, and raid team forums
- No cliques or “Fuckin New Guy” attitudes. Don’t be a douche and you’ll fit right in. As a matter of fact, this pretty much summarizes our guild rules. Don't be a Douche...
- Daily activities of all kinds. We have a total of 3 raid teams that are running every night of the week, as well as a newly formed RBG team and weekly social events.
- We run a 12 person roster with raiders having 1 week off every 6. This also means we never have to pug and we WILL run every week.
What we expect from you:
- Maintain >90% attendance. We only run 2 nights a week, so it is really important that you show up on time every week. We understand that RL happens but we expect that you plan around your raid nights, not the other way around.
- Attitude. We expect our raiders to show up every night with a positive, go-git-em attitude. Showing up week after week like someone just killed your dog is not acceptable. We are here to have fun, and nobody is going to come in a ruin that. If you are going to throw a temper tantrum after a wipe night, then you are not right for this team.
- Awareness. We have excellent, WoL top 100 healers, but they will not heal stupid. Stay out of the shit --> kill bosses faster --> gg.
- Ability. While we are not looking for top ranking players from former top 10 blah blah blah, we also aren’t interested in window lickers who can’t hold threat or use a CD. Be able to perform, and you’ll be fine.
- Be a member of a team. We are not looking for a raider who is going to log on to raid in silence, then log off for the rest of the week. We are looking for more e-friends to share this game with, not for our own egos, but because I believe team synergy is the most important part of progression raiding.
- Attitude. Yes, I said it again because it’s that important.
