What do you think about my parts?

I built my computer around 4-5 months ago and It's running really smooth, no problems at all. What I have is:

    Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
    Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz
    CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
    ASRock Z77 Extreme4
    DELL 2407WFP - 24 inch monitor
    Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler (heatsink)
Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Western Digital WD Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM
ASUS HD7870-DC2-2GD5 Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support
    CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD
    Tower - Corsair 500r

What scale would you rate me as right now 1-10? Since it's year 2013. Is my cpu still in good shape for next couple of years?

Good system build all around. You might want to tweak a few things.

    1) Do you need 16gb ram? You probably don't. 8GB ought to be fine.
    2) Without links, I can't tell if the ram you selected (or will re-select) is low profile, as it may have issues with the cooler
    3) Get a BLue WD drive, rather than Black. You already have an SSD, so the Black's performance is just wasted money.
    4) With this setup probably running what, $1100-1200? You may as well get the 7870 XT over the Ghz version. it's likely just a few bucks more, and better performance
    5) The Corsair PSU is nice, but overkill. You can porbably get something much cheaper, and smaller wattage, and still be fine.

The build is fine, really. If you pulled the trigger on that setup, there's nothing wrong with it. I just feel you could shave off over $50 and get a better GPU at the same time.
