Need new Gpu and Mobo, what to get?

Well i have a P8P67 Deluxe Mobo form Asus and i run a i7 2600K on it with Corsair H100 Water Cooler on it. My Gpu is a 570 DC2 from asus to.

What i would like to do is run multi monitor setup with a wide resolution.
My Idea is to buy 2 - 3 Monitors (not 100% sure yet) and replace my Mobo with one that is comparable with what i have and that it can handle PCI Express 3.0, as for gpu i am looking on the ones with extra ram memory on...perhaps a 3gb 670?

What do you think on this?

The only thing i am sure of so far is the monitors and i will go for http://www.inet.se/produkt/2204808/s...paign=prisjakt

27'' Samsung, 2ms, looks good to.

a pci-e 2.0 16x won't bottleneck your future card unless you get a gtx 690. (and even then you would only have a <5% performance loss mostly +-2,5%)
got any more details for budget?
why get a 1080p 27" screen? (for that size 1440p is more recommened)
also if you want to play on three screens might be better to look for AMD cards instead.

gaming won't take more then 2gb unless you run with some very wierd texture mods.

Well i liked that monitor for its size, looks, and price! cheap like 300 usd each at most, what can i get that is better for same cash aprox?

As for card i found the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 4GB interesting. could i run that on old mobo without it ''bottlenecking'' the card?

As Shroudster said you don't need a new motherboard for PCI-E 3.0, even if you would get a new motherboard you would also have to get a new CPU since Sandy Bridge doesn't support PCI-E 3.0 anyway.

PCI-E 2.0 is fine for all single GPU cards on the market today.

we'd still like some more details on a total budget for the whole deal. (gpu(s) + monitor(s))
also gaming on three screens or multiple screen setup for multitasking?
getting a single higher resolution screen might also be a better option.
the more specifics the better we can help you.

I find that reliving that i don't have to get a new MB! Saving much work and cash there, and i did not know of the sandy bridge vs PCI-E3.0 issue! would have needed a new cpu there to then...
I also was not happy about removing the cpu cooler, dislike doing so once installed.

I ordered a Corsair 860 Modular PSU earlier.old one is a really old corsair 650ax aprox 7 years. need to tidy up the cables and the new one is completely silent with low loads.

As for the rest of the subject, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 4GB think this is a good pick? seems many go for ati with multi monitor setup due to more memory, but this one have 4gb so i should be fine, even if i run 3 monitors right?
The Windforce X3 cooler on it seems to be liked by most ppl to, good results with low noice.

Well i am multi tasking way to much tbh but i like it, running my old Benq 22'' +46'' samsung TV atm, when i am not gaming i try to fit folders and stuff on the small monitor and browser on the TV. Would love to go with 3 same size ones for [Folders][Browser][Winamp]
I shall move my comp to my bedroom and then i loose the TV as screen.

As for gaming i mostly play WoW, GW2 and other games, i like to have good performance that last some years.

    Budget would be aprox 900 - 1000USD for 3 x 27'' monitors. Perhaps 550 - 600 USD For GPU.

you won't use the potential of a 4Gb card. gigabyte card are good but lately they seem to suffer from coil whine. (a thing to avoid really)
again, mind providing a more definite purpose on multi screen setup? (because if gaming a single 670 isn't recommended , you wandering into SLI/CF options)
again relavant details would help allot more.........

The biggest use of 3 monitors is multi tasking 80% of the time the rest is gaming, was think that i could get this build to work for both without 2x - 3x the budget.

When you are going to game on 3 screens, I would just get a 7970 (GHz) edition. The extra vram and the bigger membus will help compared to the nvidia offerings (unless you want to get a Titan ;p)

As for the screens, if you go with 3 screens I would stick with 23-24 inch as max size. Another solution could be, get a 27 inch 1440p screen and a smaller one (1080p), altho i think this solution will cost you more than 3x 24 inch 1080p screens.

Or you could try and see whether the new widescreens from Dell and LG suit your needs and perhaps still use your benq as a secondary monitor.

They do come at a stupidly hefty price. http://www.amazon.com/Original-LG-29.../dp/B00AFR5HVU

Having said that, if you were interested in investing in the LG monitor you'll need to check for the latest revision. You'll looking for rev 1.25. Also i'm not seeing many outlets selling them.

The dell version should be a hell of lot cheaper, and better build most likely.
But I think they arent that much cheaper than a 1440p screen (and than I would just go for the 1440p screen)
