    And again...rehashing

Another addition is the Burning Crusade replica weapons, bringing back things like Stormherald, Reborn!
That paired up with transmorg. old bosses making a comeback via "merely a set back" or cavern of times
Is it a sign that they are desperate to make players feel nostalgic and keep playing or they simply aren`t coming up with new ideas because the team is weaker and/or they are focused on titan ?
Sure you can argue it`s just a hammer but we know better when it comes to bringing back old stuff in the last couple of years..

Returning old weapons for transmog isn't reharsh...
But it's reason to cry for QQers

It's because people like those weapons and wanted them back. What is bad about that?

it is just a hammer. some people enjoy using models of weapons they had in the past. and as far as i know it isnt obtainable now less you find a bs with the pattern from back then

cause it`s being done way too often
It is fine to do so for 1 or two old things, like unstoppable force or dirke or ice barbed spear, whatever
We should be moving forward not dwelling in the past

A lot of players ask for rehashes, so what makes their desires any less important then yours?

Seems to me a pretty good balance, mostly new stuff with a dash of nostalgia.

So, since blizzard is bringing back removed items, youre assuming they are going to start rehashing raids?

    Are you taking crazy pills?

I think some people just wait around for a chance to use one of these buzz terms like "rehashing", "World PvP", "sandbox" or "mandatory". Doesn't matter how tenuous the link is or how many people actually like the changes, just as long as they get the chance to toss around their favorite buzz term all is good.

i would agree with you, IF there wasnt any *new* weapon/armor types being added. and fortunately there are plenty of new weapon models coming at the same time as a few older replicas being added. everybody gets something. you dont like the old stuff and wanna move forward? fine go right ahead, they added new weapon looks for you. kinda wish you had kept that old BC weapon, since you didnt know transmog was gonna be an option if the future? fine.. they added in some replicas just for you. i dont see the issue here.

what i dont like is rehashing AT THE EXPENSE OF new stuff. as long as it comes together with, then nothing to worry about.

That may be so but they lose their uniqueness, and we all know how we are saddly acostumed to that in wow not so recentely
Soon enough they may allow legendaries to be transmorg..can you imagine the amount of glaives ? it is not so farfetched that they may actually do it

Also i find it amazing that we can`t have a mature discussion about this without some teenager screaming "OMG SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE"

TBC weapons are BOP. There's no reason to ask "old school" BS to craft them. You will not be able to trade them anyway.

i would welcome legendaries as transmog items. not replica legendaries. the ACTUAL legendary item. if you put in the time to get one, and you like the look of it, i totally think you should be allowed to change the look of your current weapon for it. if blizzard did a better job with current artwork then maybe you wouldnt want to transmog your weapon to look like some legendary. i dont care, let people show off their work. i personally think glaives look silly, and because of that ive not put in the time to farm for those. its a personal preference. either you like the look of it, and wanna show it off, or you like that it took you ages to get, and wanna show off the time you spent to get the item. either way, you should be allowed to show it off. they dont lose their "uniqueness" unless they make 10 different sets of glaives, all different colors, THAT would ruin their uniqueness.

I don't understand your viewpoint? You essentially want people in an online game, who you will never meet in Real Life, to inspect you and go "Oh wow! Hes got that weapon from ages back that is unobtainable! He must be a really awesome guy to have that weapon!"

You want your e-peen stroked. But you can't. So you're throwing a tantrum claiming 'uniqueness' should stop players from customizing their characters how they want to.

Yeah. Getting tired of Blizzard getting hate for giving what players want.

*shrug* I still have those old weapons. I see no reason new generations shouldn't enjoy the appearances as well. But I can still wave the 'original epic' model at them if I really feel the need to have a dick waving contest over it.
I have eaten all the popcorn, I left none for anyone else.

Maybe there will be a lot of Glaives, at first, and then people will be bored of looking like everyone else and do something different. This remind me of the famous "All paladins will wear t2!!!!!" argument for why we shouldn't have transmog in the first place. I've seen like 4 paladins in t2, people don't want to look like everyone else. If Blizzard hadn't held out on allowing us to control our looks for so long they wouldn't have to rehash so much because people wouldn't have tossed it out to make space.

Loot in WoW was never unique, you can't lose something you never had. Being rewarded for being a better hoarder doesn't really seem like what Blizzard is shooting for.

How are these in any way unique? Did you even play TBC? The 2H Mace was everywhere, every Warrior who was PvPing had it. Everyone wanted Lionheart and it's upgrades because it was so cool looking. They're rare now, sure, but that's more because people switched trades and lost the recipes, or they don't play the BS that had those patterns anymore, or heck they just have better weapons to use.

It probably doesn't help that that's about how every one of these threads ends up sounding, especially when the 'uniqueness' argument is brought in.
