Valor Points cap in 5.2

Hey,

so i saved 3k VPs now before new patch. But now i figured in 5.2 the VP cap will be the same as its now. So since we cant buy anyway stuff from the start (no rep n stuff) and the chance that i get loot on first day in the new raid (now ilvl 500) is very small. So should i upgrade now something old and go uncapped to the new patch, because ill acquire VPs anyway with new dailies n'stuff. That means id overcap and waste points. Is that right?

There is no point being VP capped unless you plan on getting the discounted 489/496 items.

You'll earn more VP anyway before you can even buy any of the new items.

From what i heard, i think its 522 necks are available at neutral.

Necks on first day. Rings and wrist on day 3 or 4 (friendly rep) all 522 ilvl. So dont spend you points in anything besides upgrade any 509 intellect sha-touched weapon.
