I was just wondering about this from the patch notes:

Players in low-level Battlegrounds will have their effective level raised to the maximum level allowed in that Battleground bracket. Players' base stats and spells are scaled accordingly, and are treated as the same level when determining hits, misses, and critical effect chance.

The questions I have are as follows:

-What is a "low level battleground"? All below 90, or a different level?

-Would this also mean stats on your gear scale to the max allowed in that bracket? Example: Level 50 rogue with XXX crit rating resulting in 25% (arbirtary number) crit. Would he now be effectivly a level 54 with the same crit rating, which would result in lower crit percent?

I only wonder because I used to have a 70 twink.

Thanks for reading. Sorry if these were answered somewere that I missed, if they were please just post the link. Also feel free to post more questions for someone smarter than me to answer :P
