I have a question though. We had a Khazix on our team last game. The enemy team had a Rengar.

About 30 minutes into the game, we got a "Secondary Quest" dialogue pop up in the upper right hand corner with some quote from Khazix and the objective to kill Rengar. We never got it completed, as when we wiped their team and destroyed their nexus before respawn, Renger was the only one that survived a 4-0 exchange.

Whoever kills the other gets a skill upgrade, I don't what it is for Rengar (don't have him) but for Kha'zix it allows him to get his last evolution.

Ok, so. From what I gather, there are many different champions you can play as. In order to play as them, you have to buy them. But, certain ones are free to play at certain times, kind of like WoW's double honor battleground weekend things.

So...for a week or less you can play as a champion you never played with. What's the point? Can't level him, or whatever you do with champions, in that amount of time. Can't be good enough to not be yelled at by 8-year-olds all week. Can't buy the guy, because it's supposed to be a free game.

You don't level up champions, so that's not a concern. Yes you won't be good at that champion right off the bat but the only way to learn is to try, you just gotta ignore the whiners.

You play the game. You don't have to buy anything.

You can always go the Dota 2 cop-out and give everyone all of the champions (why the fuck anyone would do that is beyond me though, I mean aside from the fact that it's valve, so they can throw money at anything)

No, there's a rotating schedule of champions that you can play. That way you can play the champions that interest you and figure out if you want to buy them or not

It's not any sort of advantage. Pretty much all the champions are sidegrades. Sure you can get the champions you want faster, but that's the only perk by buying RP. That and skins.
