Bg honor gain question.

How does the amount of honor you receive at the end of each battleground actually get calculated. Im having so many occasions where ill get more dps, more flag returns, and more dmg done, more kills than another dps but yet hell get like 40 more honor than me. So does anyone know?

Guild banners, guild perk, buffs such as honorable defender. Also possible that it's someones first bg win so they get more from that.
