Need a case for my build

It's got a "gamer" feel for it but meh idk seems like you are paying for looks more then features or quality though NZXT are built pretty well. It only has 2.0 usb's up front and from past experience anytime you have a swinging front panel they always tend to break or get in the way or just be useless.

The main questions on the case that you need to ask.

1) Is it going into a certain spot. Thus do you have some size constraints that will prevent you from going with a full tower case.
2) How proficient are you at building. A full tower would be ideal because it gives you more room to work and easier cable management.

My personal preference is for Fractal Design, kind of boxy, but in a good way. Clean, polished, easy to work with, and extremely, extremely quiet. I have the R4. I have installed a Corsair h100 watercooler. Fans on high, and I've installed extra fans to go with it. Thus 6 fans going, on highest settings, and I don't hear a thing. Add that a lot of reviews of the h100 as a watercooler says it sounds like a wind tunnel when the fans are on high too. I'm beyond happy with it.

I'd definitely look at the space you want to put it, grab a measuring tape and plan it out. Pays to be smart with what you are building or planning. The last thing you want to do is have a case that just doesn't work for where you want to put it.

Considering Shinobi but then again XION Gaming Series XON-980-BK Black with RED LED Light Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case allows water cooling if i need to do that later on as for how big my desk is its about "18 1/2"

Most cases are really noisy when it sits on the desk right next to monitor. I'd look really hard into silent cases.

good catch on that. Definitely my recommendation would be more towards the R4 as I know how silent it is.

I would say the NZXT source 210 is the way to go and get a CM hyper 212 evo for your cooler, its a bit of a snug fit for that cooler but it does fit. If you give me a minute i'll upload some pics of my rig so you can see how it sits (Will have to ignore the mess I haven't managed to get around to clearing the desk yet.

So digital camera is MIA and ipod cable is walk about so the photo's might come later, i'll try explain it though until I can get them up.
On your side panel the hyper 212 will just about kiss it on a non windowed version an the top of the heat pipes will just touch it on the windowed model (you can however still get the side panel to sit on perfectly just if it has a window you might get a slight scratch on it, personally I couldn't have cared for the window just the non windowed version wasn't available here so the slight scratch doesn't bother me). The back area for cable management is a bit tight but with a few zip ties (or even bit of thin wire) you can make it reasonably tidy, the biggest thing that will prevent you from keeping everything tidy is you psu's cable length and if its modular, if your a neat freak go modular. The 5.25" on mine at least were extremely snug and I needed to really give the optical drive a push to get it in (however this didn't worry me seeing the drive was only there for installing OS, its actually unplugged at the moment as I needed the sata cable for my fraps drive. There is 2 fan mounts in the front of the case, they are however a royal pain to try getting fans into due to HDD cage position. Only other real thought about the case is that the lack of rubber grommets on the cable management holes is a bit of a shame but at the price you can't complain.

Honestly if your after a functional tower that blends into the background and does it job its the case I would recommend. If you want a case that is flashy or has a few extra features than looking elsewhere might be the way to go. (I will put the pictures up when I find my cable).
