what do you guys think? walking into Stormwind or a place like the Isle of thunder the first time. Music playing full 3D VR. (mind you... im pretty confident it wouldn't be very great for raids due to the first person view.. to much you cant see around you.)

It's a really cool tool, and I hope a lot of games in the future will have something to do with it.

Truth be told, or opinion rather, I don't think World of Warcraft is worthy enough to use such thing. First, it wouldn't really work with how the camera works. Second, I think World of Warcraft is a rather ugly looking game if we talk about graphics (Not aesthetics.)

So, yeah. I don't think it would work, World of Warcraft doesn't look good enough in my opinion.

The Rift is going to be change video games the same way Windows 95 changed desktop computers. It's going to be first viable VR to come to the market and will create a whole new genre of games, as well as take Adventure, FPS, and Sim games to a new level. However, I dont thing it will work well with WoW just because of the UI oriented nature of WoW. Imagine healing with this thing lol. Not to mention the loss of immersion from playing with a Mouse and KB. This will work much much better with games designed around a game pad so you can use your stick to move and head to aim.
