As of now this time of the year bring cheesy articles about the first sign of windflower in the local section of the biggest paper in town.
This year I thought I would grow them in a green house just to be first with a photo that would shut everyone up.
Never went through with it though

But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

The website...I don't think they update it very often. I Google searched it for this thread, and this is the first time I've ever actually even seen it.

Here's the one for our local paper. As you can see, we have very little to talk about at the moment. You will occasionally find some pretty interesting stuff in the arrest reports, but aside from that, it's usually pretty boring.

very little to talk about is an understatement, it has not been updated in a week!

The paper is weekly on Tuesdays, so the new one only just came out. I don't know how often they put the new ones up on the website though. May be much later in the week.

Eh. The biggest local news is that it turns out that Trump's spin doctor is married to the editor of a local paper that's been posting rather favourable opinions of Trump and his Golf Course.

That weasel is still trying to strong-arm in his golf course?

Irvine doesn't have a website, but here's our biggest local paper

    http://www.irvineherald.co.uk/

In summary, 11 year old kid nearly being kidnapped outside his school, former PTA member of a different school locked up for child porn & plenty of bitching about the prospect of a new leisure centre replacing the now 40 year old one. (Said paper posts the same negative crap about the new centre on a weekly basis, I've never seen or heard them print a positive feature on it yet despite the fact the old place is out of the way, looks pretty dated & needs HEAVY refurbishment - although The Magnum does feature as a Kevin Bridges comment on his latest DVD)

Gay marriage legalization in Minnesota is making its way through committee in the Democratic-controlled Legislature (we have a Democratic Governor as well). I would be shocked if we haven't legalized it by year's end.

We rejected an amendment to the state constitution banning it last November.

    Edit:

And our state Republican legislators keep going on making stupid remarks:

The big news this week is the police anti-rackat squad is investigating the town council including the mayor. Personally I think it's much ado about nothing but we shall see.

    Official website: www.turku.fi

Mostly info of different kinds, and some culture and art stuff. The city was the European capital of culture in 2011 and apparently cultural stuff is still "the hot shit".

There is a good reason for it though since we have to live with the long winters so now when the sun starts to shine and the days become longer people kind of like to see the signs of spring! I'm guilty of it to! ;P
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

The biggest headline on my local paper I read on the train is about youth soccer in the city no longer tracking stats of their players to foster an "everyone wins!" attitude. That's "big news" in my part of Canada right now.
