Will I get to meet rare npc again after unsuccesful loot dialog/

Ghostly Pandaren Craftsman - my bags were full when I spoke to him yet he despawned shortly after dialog completed. I'm quite sure the item count for achi went up, HandyNotes Lost and found no longer shows icon for this rare yet GM refused restoring the item.

Any of you ever had such problem with any of the rares that give loot upon conversation?

I do realize that he only gives some 100g worth of junk but what if that was the rare Fisherman? I would have lost the chance of getting the blue item for good. I jsut wanna make sure how this works.

as far as i know you won't get the item again, unless they fixed that with 5.2 without telling :P
