    Advice on upgrade

Hi, my current gaming build (mainly for WoW) is:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE (still at stock) cooled by Arctic Freezer 7 Pro
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 (I also own a GA-890GPA-UD3H)
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 1600 mHZ AMD-brand "Performance Edition" (manufactured by Patriot, I think)
SSD: Samsung 830 128 GB (also a Samsung 840 120GB and various other HDD for storage)
PSU: Corsair CX750 (oversized, but I got it basically for free from a friend)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X

Now, I bought the new GPU without considering CPU bottleneck, so I'm currently unsatisfied about my PC, it feels a bit unbalanced and WoW @1920x1080 has low fps with good graphic settings (which I think I deserve :P)

So I don't know what to do:
    - overclock my cpu (I know mine can reach 4 Ghz, but I don't know if that would be enough, and how to improve cooling)
    - replace my cpu
    - change platform and go Intel

Any advice? Budget isn't a huge problem, I just wish yo not waste money and have a balanced system.
    Thanks in advance!

What exactly is 'low fps'? That system ought to be able to run wow pretty damn well outside of 25 man raids on High.

I would not go as far as changing platform to intel and instead invest in an FX8350. It will make your system far more balanced and will overclock quite nicely. It is not going to be a noticeable difference between that and an i5 in 25 mans.

Hmm.. Honestly your system should run higher settings with no problem, have you updated your gfx drivers?

Yeah I wouldn't jump over to Intel just yet you could always get a 8350 which I think in a year or two of more games will be better then the current 3570k.

Sorry, I used "bad fps" (it's around 20-30 on average-crowded zones) as a shortcut for frequent stuttering (under 5 fps for some seconds), even disabling addons.
    Drivers are updated.

Sounds like an actual problem, and not hardware being too weak.

Check temps? Turn down Shadows/SSAO/Liquid/Sunshafts? Reinstall wow?

Done a complete fresh reinstall and the problem persist, I'll try to disable some of the graphic features you suggested, then I'll decide.
Thanks for your help and suggestions!
