If that's what he's getting at I'm not seeing the issue, people inspect others of the same role all the time.

Also if it's the same class I like to see how they reforge and gem, if it's another class it's usually out of habit but also because I like to see how other classes reforge/gem :P

Honestly though, even when I get jelly or the opposite since the gear difference, so what? WoW has always been like that, nothing new :P

Hmm, don't tanks agree on who should be MT and offtank? Or isn't that needed in LFR? If so looking at gear could be helpful.

When i tank LFR the first thing i do is the check the other tank, to see if he is proper geared
So checking if the other tank is an retard counts as a pissing contest, then ill keep pissing

Inspecting each other is normal. I do that every time to see how the other tank measures up so we can determine roles. If the tank is uber geared I might discuss with him taking the boss first or doing whatever is more...tanky if I'm not as geared and vice versa. I don't get why that's a big deal.
