Question about Gargoyle and when to pop trinkets.

Was talking with a friend and he told me the best time to pop gargoyle is when I have procs from my trinkets since Gargoyle basically takes a snapshot of your toon before it starts to attack. Is that true cant find any info on this.

As far as I know, all pets update dynamically, so yes its good to have him up when stuff is proc'd but better to have them proc while hes out.

This used to be true, and it was beneficial to pop UF, trinkets, pots and such before he was out (I actually sometimes still try to do it out of habbit). But as the above poster stated, he updated dynamically now.
Say you pop Gary and then 3 seconds later your first trinket procs, then 5 seconds later the second trinket goes off. Well both of those now affect him and as long as they are on you, they are effectively on him as well!
