This. I was never looking for profit, i was selling only items that i didnt care. I've 450h played on my monk, i just enjoy doing some mf when i get home and if i find something that i won't be using, i sell.

Like i said on my post, i sold 200$ in the last 2 months, one of the pieces was a manticore for 75$ and a couple average gear. Way hard then it was before, just to give an idea how easy was to make gold at the beginning, look at this:

And back then i sold a lot of items like that. Today i've no idea if there are people making tons of gold, but back then it was really easy if you could farm act3/4.
All that said, i agree with Traem, maybe you can't take Diablo 3 as a job, cause its not profitable enough, but i guarantee you can make extra cash just playing for fun.

    Just my two cents :P

Its like asking "how much money did you make in casino"?

Ah was created to spend real money, not to make them. Millions were spent and close to none got back to players.

And if you still think that you "made" any money in the game, don't forget to mention your hourly rate.
Even if you are running a cluster of 10 bots, macdonalds job would be still more profitable.
What is this gibberish? Blizzard and (more importantly) Paypal take a cut out of your earnings. Whatever players earn, they get a percentage of that. Blizzard doesn't sell anything on the RMAH themselves so every purchase pays money to a player, just minus the cut.

But please continue, the internet needs more WE ARE THE 99 PERCENT! DESTROY THE GREEDY CAPITALISTS!

I've managed to sell ONE item for a whooping €1,25....
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

I've made ~12000 USD, and continue to make 900-1000 USD per month. I do not have bots, I just resell the underpriced items from both GAH and RMAH. Although it has become more difficult to make money in D3, it is still possible

    About $1200.

Made about a grand during the first couple months, bought some computer upgrades with most of the money, didn't really try that much back then either so I'm sure I could've made more, recently though I haven't bothered to even try, I'd assume it's more difficult since way less people are playing.

Made about $200 on Vanishing Inks (Yes, the ones you can buy from a vendor).

I got diablo for free with the annual pass and sold around $30 worth of gear on the rmah.

I did put that $30 back into the rmah though for gold, after the price dropped considerably.

    Some insane numbers here.
I think I made 9€, didn't care too much about it so I spent it on RMAH.

If you play the game for fun, then the question about money makes even less sense.

If you are playing for fun, there is no reason for you to take money out of the game, you should use them to upgrade your gear.
If you are playing the game and are trading resources that you farm inside the game for some real life currency instead of using them to improve your character, then it looks more like a job of chinese farmer to me. Its RPG. If you are not improving anything, you are doing it wrong.

Seems like you can earn some good cash. Just sad that most of the people earning big from it is the botters.

Not to say that everyone did this, but most did it solely to make $$ on the RMAH under the false sense, that they were only doing it for "fun"

    I made minus 10 bucks :P

  18. #38
Around 40 bucks, enough to pay for dinner and a movie for me and my girl

  19. #39
Approximately 400, me and my friends "cashed out" within the first few months and never touched the game again.
