Fire Elemental Totem - M/S Haste?

I was wondering which of the haste are the one that affects the fire elemental. I do believe it is Spell hate but during raid pull, sometimes by burst spikes up to 550k DPS, where it normally hovers around 430k. Just trying to clarify whether it is that or some other factors that causes the big dps gain.

Both melee and spell haste affect your Elementals.
