If we don't have flying mounts at lvl 100 for a whole patch I'm feeling more inclined than ever to play that patch. World pvp galore!

Would suck for those of us on PvE servers were nearly no one is flagged.

I just don't get why people who want to use a ground mount don't actually use them. There's nothing stopping anyone from taking one over the other and the "but I'll be alone" arguement isn't true. Not because I don't agree with it, but because everyone who would like to use ground mounts is using them.
That would end the useless seemingly endless discussion.

Because if the maps are based around flying mounts, it sucks to be on a ground mount. Plus, while people argue that they don't like to be pampered, if given the option to be pampered, they'll still take it, because we're human. Basically, they don't even want the option of flying mounts, so that everything seems harder or something. Personally, I like my flying mounts. I spent a lot of time getting some of those, and if they were to take them away, I'd probably become a serial killer.

Blizzard could remove battlegrounds from the game to try and force people back to world PvP. I doubt that removal would do the game good though.
