Well, a lot of the teachers have classes directly after my class, and I have to run to get to my other classes on time, so I don't know how I could talk to them directly after class.

Your bookstore on campus will almost always know exactly what your professor is requiring you to have as well.
If the teacher is busy after class then ask a TA and if the TA doesn't know then find out your teachers office hours. You can probably find their office hours online as well.
