    Need new game

What's a really fun, simply game I can get got my PC to play on some downtime? I'm really into RPGs and/or Pokemon-type game (games where you have pets or have a farm/town/things to care for and raise). Storylines are a plus, but not required, as with the need to care for something.

I'm looking for something addicting, fun, and that gives me a reason to want to pick it back up for a few hours a week.

Rule of Thumb: If the healer's HPS is higher than your DPS, you're doing it wrong.

Have you ever played Dungeon Keeper? It's more strategy than RPG but you have the pets element you mentioned where you need to built rooms to maintain your dungeon and make your minions stronger. Very addictive but not overly time-consuming and the story and voice acting is fantastic.

It's an older game that you can get from GOG cheap. I could never figure out how to use DOSBox on my own but GOG's version is all packaged together in a nice little bundle that you download, unzip, and play. No frustration fighting with a comp that won't play older games.

    I'll Google it, thanks.

I Play two different games abit now and then thats pretty fun

    FTL: Faster Than Light
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/212680/
Very fun and pretty hard game

    Recently started Don't Starve
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/219740/

Both games are very challenging and fun. Perfect also to play since they got windowed mode and you can pause the game anytime.

But i also agree with Jahasafrat that Dungeon keeper is gold and keep one eye out for https://wftogame.com/

People tend to call it Dungeon keeper 3 its not released yet but i can't wait !

Tried Minecraft? It can be surprisingly addicting.

If you do, I'd suggest using this terrain mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/...ration-4-v103/
It gives you a lot more options for terrain types, which makes exploring more interesting. The default generator is a bit repetitive.

I can also recommend FTL, but it's actually REALLY hard. It even takes some time (and luck ) to get to the last sector. I couldn't kill the endboss till now. But I don't know if you like it, because it's very short. One round takes maximum 2 hours, with a little training it will be a lot less. But anyway a good game and pretty cheap.

This is a really cool game. A mixture of tower defence and final fantasy. The graphics look a bit odd on the screenshots, but the gameplay is very nice. You can level up your allies (aka towers), buy them better weapons, level up their skills and get them their own personal look. If you do like some of these you should definitely have a look. + It's also cheap.

    Try Beasty Bay on ios/android.
It's got farming, collectible pets, a rpg element, a storyline.
    You will probably enjoy it.

And, if you're looking for something else on the sideline, get this one: http://motorworld.wikia.com/wiki/Motor_World_Wiki
    Motor world.
Be so kind to use the code: "HNGG410" at the end of the tutorial, I'm just a few referrals short of unlocking another car so i can add it to the wiki
It's a car collection game. You manage a car factory, the workers, shops, and so on. No storyline really, but some unique referrals to existing things. (such as back to the future)
