Female versions of a character that a large portion of the playerbase doesn't want to fuck has never tested well. Troll females were fugly, tested poorly, they made them more attractive and less.....troll.

It's kinda fucked up. Even orc women appeal to the same people who'd lay the wood to Serena Williams and they're ORCS. Wish people would separate their porn and their gaming.

I could't imagine a better race for the Horde as Ogre or Half Ogre. Could be fun to have two heads for the magic users. Also we have some ogre tribes already as part of the Horde, Rexxar would be a great leader for the Ogre race.
Since I hope for a south seas expansion there could be space for ogres. Would like to see them come up with nice new models, they should be as tall as tauren, should not be a problem.

IMHO the only races they should add is High elves as a neutral group like the pandaren were. No thanks to ogres and nagas and ethereals.
Ogres.. too big to enter shops etc, as well as too stupid.
Nagas, no legs so no boots or pants and they must be near water at all times as they are mainly aquatic.
Ethereals we no so little about them or their world, they really do not seem viable.

I am glad they didn't. We do not need another huge race stomping around in close quarter dungeons and raids. They would have almost certainly been a horde race and taurens are bad enough. There is a reason why most ppl that role non druid taurens to tank or melee make them female and it isn't for that husky girl laugh.

Contrary to popular belief, you can't just make up or choose whatever shitty race you think is 'cool' to assume to be a future Alliance/Horde race. Guess what? Every playable race we have in game has been established since Warcraft 3 or further, so... Hate to be a big let-down, but they're not gonna implement some stupid weaboo fan-race with no prior lore backing, nor pick a race that has absolutely no history with the Alliance or Horde aside from one-off villains made to swell enemy ranks in an old expansion.

I hope not. Maybe in an expansion with a fitting theme, but say next expac is a BL one (not saying it is, just hypothetical), I wouldn't want Blizzard to make ogres a playable race with a Legion-theme.

I know they want Sargeras to be the final boss at Level 100, so... if next expansion were to be the BL again, not sure how we'd achieve that.

UNLESS, they want TWO more expansions to be about the Legion.

I wouldn't mind that, TBH BC was awesome.
