The timeline is just a mess. With how much work it takes to redo zones I don't see them redoing zones much again, certainly not on the Cata level, maybe now and then. We'll just have Garrosh as Warchief until 90, phasing and stuff will happen and the story will move on from there. Not much else to do.

What I want to know is how will SoO work after 5.4? Will it end up at CoT?

Or maybe end up as a raid instance inside of org itself and we get to laugh at alliance players attempting to sneak in to get transmorg gear

    They're a multi-million dollar corporation. I'd assume they do.

Hm... Sad to see that so many people see Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms as Outland and Northrend, Pandaria too.

Have we heard anything significant change in Outland or Northrend ? (Ok there is no Focusing Iris) No. But these two continents progress endlessly and for now we have lot of unchanged maps that feels disappointing, we have to bare Garrosh and his madness in these 5 zones, we have to do Scenario to see destroyed Theremore, to do daily quests in Pandaria to see Moved Dalaraan from Northrend and Jaina as Radical Alliance NPC. And pretty sure no one will do Scenarios and DAilys in next expansion just to see Theremore and moved Dalaraan. That facts are disappointing, Game lorewise progresses, but Game in-game wise stayes same. World of Warcraft is leader in MMORPG so there should be no talking about finances, and if it will take time its ok because it will refresh game and bring new spark in it ! You know Every little helps.
War is deception, a game played best from the shadows!

The same rule will apply to Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Yeah it doesn't make a lot of sense, but if they reworked lore inconsistencies every time it was necessary we would have a LOT less new content and a lot more reworked old content just for the sake of things making chronological sense.
    Exactly, He tells it all.
We see Lich king in Questlines too, and deathwing we still see to, and hes dead to.
Lore wise they are dead, game wise they are forever alive :P

They did that once. It was called Cataclysm. It was not immensely well received, and Blizzard has come to believe that new, higher level content is more important to and will be seen by the majority of players. Thus, whatever is due next, expect minimal adjustments to old, unrelated content.
