yea if Zalazane had been in a dungeon in Echo Isles that part of the island wouldn't of been reclaimed either
Capital of the Alliance? Lordaeron?
No, each human kingdom has their own capital. Stormwind has no claim on Lordaeron. They're different kingdoms.
And unless somehow the Forsaken get turned back into humans, it won't ever be restored.
We have faced trials and danger, threats to our world and our way of life. And yet, we persevere. We are the Horde. We will not let anything break our spirits!"
I'm torn. On one hand, a good slaughterfest (preferrably performed bare-handed for more intimacy) is always fun, but on another hand, slowly tainting the minds, corrupting and turning the rules and codices by which they play into shackles, making them dissolve and wither morally before applying actual poison... delightful.
Pah, too many little babies and bureaucracy here. Real men just slaughter half they enemies and capture rest for later. As torture snacks.
Not in World of Warcraft. Maybe one day blizzard will do a story where the Forsaken fall and are wiped out and Lordaeron is reclaimed, but not likely. Certainly not in WoW's lifetime, and if I were to bed, I wouldn't count on them ever scrapping the Forsaken.

Also, the "Alliance" has no claim over it. While I do believe that the current alliance is the same organization as the Alliance of Lordaeron, rather than a 'new' alliance, Lordaeron belonged to its people. Most of whom are not dead or Forsaken. Most forsaken are Lordaeron humans, and there is no heir with a legit claim to the throne that hasn't fallen into the cracks of lore, and imo Lordaeron mostly belongs to them. I think they had no right to drive still living people of Lordaeron (Southshore) out, but Stormwind has no claim to Lordaeron's land.
OMG 13:37 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Cleave unto me, and I shall grant to thee the blessing of eternal salvation."
And His disciples said unto Him, "Can we get Kings instead?"
From a purely lore standpoint, maybe. So long as the forsaken are part of the Horde, it's impossible. Should they split from the Horde, it's entirely possible.

"Terror, darkness, power? The Forsaken crave not these things; the Forsaken ARE these things."
