Are there realm groups for LFR/heroics?

Similar to battlegroups, my question is if there are realm groups, such that you only get placed in LFR and heroics with people from these realms (i.e. if you're on Illidan, there are only 10 or 20 other realms you can be grouped with other randoms from). Thanks for responses.

I kinda wish there was a way I could avoid people from Illidan.

I'm pretty sure you can get people from anywhere in your region, but the system prefers players from your own server.
