1. Dire Maul ( Especially that flower/imp part.)
2. Halls of Stone (Long, repetetive no challenge gauntlet.)
3. Trial of the Champion (Terrible, jousting, it had always pointless loot.)
4. Siege of Niuzao Temple ( Another long and boring gauntlet, annoying last boss.)
5. Hour of Twilight (Too much boring RP, slow, bad bosses.)

What's wrong with Stormstout Brewery? one of the best dungeons :3
1. Auchenai Crypts.
2. Mana-Tombs.
3. Sethekk halls.
4. The Slave Pens.
5. The Steamvault.
Stormstout brewery - its so unfunny its actually funny.
Mini-toc - god what were they thinking.
Occulus - vehicle combat yaaaaaay
New scarlet monastery - just meh
Maraudon - i love that instance lore/look wise but it was nightmare to run.
Halls of Stone
Violet Hold
Opening of Dark Portal
Culling of Stratholme
ToC
See a trend?

Throne of the tides

Wailing caverns
shadowpan monastry
dragonmaw - EU
1. Stormstout Brewery
2. Siege of Niuzao Temple
3. Hour of Twilight
4. Blackrock Caverns
5. Auchenai Crypts
Dungeons like ToC I can forgive for having little to no thrash
5) Blackrock Depths - sweet, sweet times of vanilla. Sweet times of teams disbanding almost instantly when nobody knew what the fuck to do.
4) Halls of Stone - Tribunal of Ages. Nuff said.
3) Shado-Pan Monastery - Long, boring, uncreative. And the boring ass gauntlet before Snowdrift.
2) Well of Eternity - even if you are good, you can't speed this damn place up. + voice acting at its finest.
Number 1: Dire Maul West. Terrible design, boring ass bosses, and the ingenious idea of "not a single trash mob left unkilled, or you can't proceed!"
5. Black Morass
4. Stormsout Brewery
3. End Time
2. Culling of Stratholme
1. The Oculus
5) HoS
4) Stonecore
3) HoR
2) Halls of Orig
1) All HoT ones
In no particular order, I'd choose:
Trial of the Champion
Violet Hold
Halls of Stone
Hour of Twilight
Auchenai Crypts
- Hour of Twilight
- Oculus
- Wailing Caverns
- Ragefire Chasm
- Mana Tombs
Now you see it. Now you don't.
1) Old Sunken Temple. The place was confusing, you'd always run into wandering trash, the mini bosses were all lackluster, and it was in the middle of nowhere.
2) Hour of Twilight. This whole dungeon could very well have been a 4.3 quest chain.
3) Oculus. The vehicle combat was clumsy, people were always getting lost...
4) Nexus. The instance was clumsily laid out and the trash was annoying
5) Siege of Niuzao. Setting could have been much cooler. Bosses are annoying, layout is annoying. All and all rather forgettable.
And I never really minded TOC. I was actually good at jousting. And the bosses on heroic (other than Eadric) actually proved to require coordination.
“Do not lose time on daily trivialities. Do not dwell on petty detail. For all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. Live well and live broadly. You are alive and living now. Now is the envy of all of the dead.” ~ Emily3, World of Tomorrow
Words to live by.
5-All of Dire Maul. I hate that place.
4-Stormstout Brewery. Fast and easy, but still i cannot stand running it. Heh.
3-Shado-pan Monastery. Slow, painful, lots of bosses (compared to other heroics) and freezing archers too.
2-Oculus. Braindead people ruining it, mostly.
1-Halls of Stone. I wouldn't stand Tribunal of Ages being the only boss in a heroic. But that would make it way faster, given the thought of that encounter PLUS other bosses killed me everytime.
Halls of Origination
New Scholomance (To Linear)
ToC
Blackrock Depths (So bloody confusing)
Botanica
I don't always hunt things, But when I do, It's because they're things & I'm a Bear.
1. Oculus
2. Trial of the Champion
3. Old Hillsbrad
4. Sunken Temple (vanilla version)
5. Auchenai Crypts
Dishonorable Mentions:
The Arcatraz
Halls of Reflection
Hour of Twilight
Black Morass
Halls of Stone
What do a lot of these have in common? A lot of them involve vehicles (1, 2), a lot of them are long (3, 4, 5), and a lot of them have flow-breaking mechanics that force you to sit and wait (1, 3, 4, Black Morass, Hour of Twilight, Halls of Reflection, Halls of Stone). These are the key factors that lead to a bad 5-man. Let me get in and get out quickly, don't make me sit around twiddling my thumbs in an RP scene or scripted encounter, and please fire the developers who think vehicles are fun.
Shockingly none of the MoP dungeons have struck me as awful. Shado-Pan Monastery sucks, but nowhere near as much as the above dungeons.
1. Culling of stratholme (really, nothing good about this instance, at least it's okayish when you can skip the rp).
2. Violet Hold. Instance gets completely ruined by the inability to chainpull, means that it takes ages to complete and you are unable to get anything resembling a challenge.
3. ToC. Just boring, but at least it's quick.
4. Oculus. The dragon part is remotely fun, once.
5. Blackrock depths. I feel like I'm being a bit unfair, the instance would be fine as a raid/with guildies, but seriously, such a big instance with random groups is just asking for trouble.
