Co-op campaign might be fun, haven't tried it.. but how can I conquer all the world with an ally at my side? no bueno Maybe if the 2 of us make 2 great empires, max out, and then declare war on each other, that would be so much fun.
Just pre-ordered this, 12 more days and I won't see the sun again. Better enjoy it while I can.

Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

just about to post this
wow she played terribly
not sure what it is with the new graphics style, but im finding it hard to tell what unit is which when they are battling, in rome 1 most the units had pretty bright colouring, easy to see whos who in a big brawl, in this they seem to all look the same! though when i play i zoom in a lot and watch the fighting :>

Well in her defense it was really hard to know from which side the opponent will come, and no way to deploy inside a city without walls
I have a question. Can we rename our generals? I know we can name our army, like Legion XIII. But, can I name my general Marc Antony? xDD And when he dies, I'll name another one the same, because the death was merely a setback.
I went through and played some of the historical battles in rome 1
I can't believe they didn't do Cannae but I guess the AI isn't as dumb as the real roman general was. Been brushing up on my Carthage history though youtube
Love those documentaries.
Edit: Good lord is she terrible

the only thing that matters is the SPARTANS!
Not sure if serious. I mean, you could theoretically engage the whole phalanx line with your infantry and have cavalry flank them, but even AI doesn't make as stupid mistakes as not leaving reserves or phalanx flanks covered by it's own cavalry. Or maybe you're playing on the easiest difficulty level, then yes, all it takes is one cavalry unit.
