Exotic Beasts nerf more than CC nerf

I only had a chance to test a few pets that I own, but I am sure it affects pretty much all pets. Some of them are pretty big nerfs, like RoS, Bullheaded, and Cower for PVP. PVE nerfs aren't too bad, but weren't needed either.

They were added just to make sure you don't play BM anymore

But to be honest: Let us first see how things turn out to be before we commence the QQing

I don't think you will feel the pvp "nerf" at all. If you need to use those abilities (ros/bullheaded/cower) more often, you dismiss your pet and summon another. You can have a permanent ros on yourself even without a cooldown reduction.
