lil' bro need a decent 200-300$ monitor

My brother got some crappy low pixel screen which worked fine before, but now that he got a pretty decent laptop which easily plays his games on ultra at ~40-60 fps, he just needs a decent 1920x1080 monitor at about 300$

Any suggestions? He just plays league of legends and diablo 3. Maybe some CoD game now and then but nothing serious. 300$ is the budget.

completely forgot to say that it needs to be available in denmark. afaik Newegg doens't ship to denmark for a reasonable price.

A 250 $ screen in US is about 400$ in denmark FYI.

You can easily get a good 1920x1080 for under 200, to be honest. With that budget you could look at an IPS, but its certainly not necessary.

Free 2 day shipping, 24 inch Full HD with absurd contrast and refresh, fully adjustable stand, pretty much everything you could ever want. Can't go wrong with ASUS.

You'll get decent 23" 1080p monitor for 150-200€, don't need to go overboard or pay extra for 120hz or IPS for light gaming on a laptop. Asus, Dell, Samsung all good brands.

Except in price. And no free shipping to Denmark. And paying extra for 144Hz for a laptop that pulls 40-60fps?

If you just want responsive 60hz 1920x1080 TN panel then there's really no need to spend any more than 150-180 EU on a solid monitor that a ton of people have bought

    Asus VE248H - Amazon.de - 167 EUR
    Asus VS248H - Amazon.de - 167 EUR

The only difference between the two is that the VE comes with inbuilt monitor speakers, and if your lil bro doesn't need that (uses headset or external speakers) then buy the VS which has slightly better contrast.

LG IPS237L-BN 1340 DKK (I ahve this one, excellent for the price)

Dell UltraSharp U2312HM 1544 DKK (probably a little better overall but obviously an extra 200 DKK)
