ghost thingys all around Pandaria

So ive prob seen them before but didnt think of it. but i now frequently see ghost around MoP areas. similiar to Haunted Memento, have these been around entire xpansion or is this a hint for something?

I see one on a road on the Isle of Thunder everyday. At first i thought that there may have been a rogue lurking nearby but after seeing it in the same spot every single day i then thought that it might have been someones Haunted Memento that bugged out. I haven't really seen any more of them around Pandaria but that could be because i am not looking for them.
