Hah fair enough. It's obviously inconsistent across raids; it definitely does not work in ToT or MSV (reddit and the wow forum seem to confirm this). My apologies!

Edit to say: thanks for the hint (whoever it was upthread) about jumping off before the bridge cutscene in ToT. Totally 100% worth it.

5500+ attempts on galleon including bonus roll on 26 110 and I considered this already. Horrible chance to drop. This is clearly not a 1/2000 chance or even a 1/4000 chance. They clearly need to make some changes to these world bosses in pandaria.

Save sharing is definitely broken for Throne of Thunder.

It worked great on the first toon I shared the lock with. But on subsequent toons, the target Boss (Ji-Kun) was dead and the save had been bumped to 6/12. I even tried (on my second new save) logging the original save-holder out so they weren't in Raid (offline ofc) when Ji-Kun was killed. Didn't matter, same thing.

Really a bummer, anyone have different results in ToT since patch?

Edit: exact same thing happens in Mogushan Vaults :/

Decided to go for the Zalandari direhorns and got none. I did get enough tolkens to get exalted with Klaxxi and Shadopan so that gave me five new mounts and I got Golok in frostfire so happy with my 6 mount haul in 4 hours. Back to the grind again tomorrow!

First two were on my priest and last was on my monk. All gotten today, and I even got the Blazing Drake earlier this week. I didn't even notice the Elegon mount at first because I forgot my priest was guildless and didn't see a guild notice so just assumed it wasn't there. I caught the Ji-Kun mount, but still didn't see the Elegon (you can even see it in my bags lol) until I tried to sell it to the vendor.

Thankfully the vendor did not want that item XD

Got it after around 10 kills back in MoP, surely it's a 10% drop chance.

I always forgets to take screenshots, but just got clutch of Ji-kun today (6 attempts) and spawn of horridon (14 attempts)

Edit: Also got the white polar bear and black war mammoth today.

Edit 2: and ending the day with the onyxian drake. 5 rare mounts in 2 days, not too shabby.
