    Phys-x Question

So Im running a EVGA GTX 670 SC and was wondering I have a spare 560 gtx lying around. The problem is that the card has artifacts on it. Now if I set it up as a physx card would it hurt my system or do any harm in trying it out?

As far as I've read with the community, having a separate card performing the phys-x calculations has actually been a FPS decrease unless it was the exact same card. Even then it was just a side-grade and normally performed at the same level. If I remember correctly, of course.

Not exact same but close enough.

There was a test with GTX500 series using 580 as the primary card which showed 560 for physx being tiny bit fps upgrade but 550ti was already FPS loss, and with old 9800GT you'd lose 20fps easily compared to running GTX580 alone.

Based on that 560 would be pretty close to being on the edge between fps loss and gain.

    Trolling should be.
